Personally, i think the often unrestricted forest encroachment is problematic. Agriculture, especially slash and burn, with more and more permanent character, is a very traditional practice and as the forest seems to be everywhere, the impact is often neglected locally. But this is just my opinion.
Thats a very interesting perspective - how would you deal with this, on the one hand, traditional practices need to be preserved, especially in local traditional and indigenous communities, however, there need to be restrictions and rules for all, as it comes to land use planning and decision making. Any thoughts on this?
