Most of the MAES process for marine ecosystem services rely on the use of remotely sensed satellite imagery but some ecosystems can be missed if they are too depth underwater (e.g., kelp). What can we do to mitigate this negative effect? Are there any complementary methodologies to advance on marine ES assessment?
